Department of Geography and Geoinformatics Reviews Academic Preparations for New Semester

Department of Geography and Geoinformatics Council at Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, held its first regular meeting for the 2026–2027 academic year. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Al-Bakri, Head of the Department, to address administrative and academic arrangements for the upcoming term.
Dr. Al-Bakri opened the meeting by welcoming faculty members to the new academic year, stressing the importance of teamwork and collaborative effort to enhance educational outcomes and research performance.
The Council reviewed the approved unified curriculum and finalized the department’s specific academic plan for the first semester. Members also discussed the distribution of teaching loads and courses among faculty members to ensure academic balance and a smooth start to the semester.
