Department of Social Work Holds Second Regular Council Meeting for AY 2026/2027

The Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, convened its second regular council meeting for Academic Year 2026/2027 on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Chaired by Department Head Assoc. Prof. Sukeina Hashem, the council met to discuss key academic and administrative items.
The council reviewed departmental updates and evaluated academic performance to ensure high educational standards for the current academic year.
In line with graduate degree requirements, the council reviewed and approved the defense committee decisions for Abeer Al-Daifi’s master’s thesis and Aabed Hadi’s Ph.D. dissertation. The council also processed a Ph.D. application submitted by Badoora Al-Salmi in accordance with academic policy.
Dr. Hashem and council members reiterated the importance of continuous efforts to enhance academic and research performance, advance community engagement, and elevate graduate outcomes.
