Sana’a University Faculty of Arts and Humanities Launches Campus Cleanup and Greening Initiative

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Sana’a University carried out a comprehensive campus cleanup and environmental care initiative today across faculty grounds. Participated in by staff members and sponsored by the Deanship, the campaign was held in observance of the Prophet’s Birthday (Al-Mawled Al-Nabawi) for the year 1448 AH.
Organized under the slogan “Cleanliness is a Faith-Driven Behavior and Collective Commitment,” the event aimed to promote environmental awareness, foster values of cooperation and civic duty, and enhance the overall appearance of the faculty’s facilities and open spaces.
Campaign activities encompassed cleaning and organizing various facilities and courtyards, removing litter and visual pollutants, and maintaining green areas and gardens. The initiative also included planting coffee saplings in select green spaces to enhance the campus environment.
The active involvement of faculty staff highlighted strong teamwork and initiative, directly contributing to an improved campus aesthetic and reinforcing shared responsibility for maintaining university infrastructure.
This effort reflects the Faculty of Arts and Humanities’ commitment to encouraging positive community practices, ensuring a clean and healthy academic environment, and instilling values of institutional belonging and service.
Organizers emphasized the importance of sustaining such environmental initiatives to continually improve the learning environment and reflect the academic and cultural image of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Sana’a University.
