Obtained the Philosophy of Doctorate degree in Information Systems, Major: Computing and information Science from Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Sanaa University, for his thesis entitled:
A Framework for Quality Measurements of Intelligent Systems in the Context of Contemporary International Standards
The discussing committee was formed of:
♦ Professor Dr. Mansour Noaman MARHOOB, Principle Supervisor Committee Member,
♦ Professor Dr. Mokhtar Mohammed Abdul-Jalil GHILAN, Internal Examiner Committee Member, and
♦ Associate Professor Dr. Adel Abdul-Salam Hayel NASSER, External Examiner Head of Committee.
The thesis aims at determining the standards for measuring the quality of Intelligent Systems, presenting key guidelines and practices that can be used to develop a framework for evaluating intelligent systems’ quality requirements.
The study comes out with some results: it is crucial to include users in procedures for ongoing improvement to increase accountability and dedication to professional ethics .The study ends in suggesting a framework that seeks to improve the development and deployment of intelligent systems and guarantee to satisfy the changing expectations of users and regulatory bodies in a global context.
The study concludes with some recommendations of which there should be some treatment for the gap towards unifying the intelligent system evaluation measurements.
Attendees of the viva session were a number of academics, researchers, interested students of the major, the researcher’s colleagues and some of family members.
