Obtained the Philosophy of Doctorate degree in Computing and Data Science, Major: Computer Science from Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Sanaa University, for her thesis entitled:
A Novel Multi-Objective Metaheuristic Model for Selecting Optimal of Features from Bioinformatics Big Data

The thesis aims at building up new models for choosing the most important characteristics of gene troubles accompanying cases with Alzheimer of the DNA chain. All is for the objective of reducing the number of features and improving the classification accuracy. The study also introduces a novel hybrid multi-objective wrapper method for feature selection. This method is to help gather between both TOPSIS and CSA.
The study comes out with some results: the study proposed model outperforms the single-objective methods in terms of classification accuracy. It attained an accuracy average of 97.08% and selected 19 features, thereby outperforming other algorithms in both classification accuracy and the number of features selected.
Attendees of the viva session were a number of academics, researchers, interested students of the major, the researcher’s colleagues and some of family members.
