The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology Organizes an Online Workshop to Update its Strategic Directions

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology FCIT, organized a workshop titled “Updating the Strategic Directions of the Faculty” via Zoom. The workshop came within the framework of the faculty’s continuous efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance in line with modern standards of higher education.
The workshop aimed to update the strategic directions of the faculty to align with market needs and the requirements of higher education in the fields of computing and information technology. This contributes to the development of study plans, the enhancement of education quality, and the involvement of all stakeholders in the strategic process to ensure academic excellence and innovation in future programs and projects.
The workshop, in which the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Alshalabi, the Vice Deans, heads of academic departments, faculty members, and the international quality expert, Dr. Muhammad Alsharjabi, participated, has discussed the faculty’s vision and mission, leading to the adoption of their final versions.
During the discussion, participants were invited to submit proposals to amend the proposed strategic objectives, which will be discussed later by the assigned committee, in preparation for finalizing and adopting the objectives for the next stage.
Dr. Alsharjabi presented his valuable expertise during the workshop and contributed to enriching the discussions related to the faculty’s future vision.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Alshalabi, praised the positive interaction of the participants, expressing his appreciation for the outcomes achieved, stressing that they will contribute to guiding the faculty towards achieving its future strategic goals.
