University Rector’s Assistant Reviews Website Update of Faculty of Computer and Information Technology

As part of Sana’a University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its digital presence and enhance electronic communication channels, the University Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, reviewed today the progress of developing and updating the website of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. This took place during a meeting dedicated to evaluating the website and discussing proposed improvements and development notes.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shalabi; the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mansour Marhoob; the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, Dr. Heba Al-Marwai; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sabri; the Systems Director, Mr. Shukri Abdulwasa’; the Faculty Website Officer, Ms. Tasneem Qasbah; and the Faculty Secretary, Dr. Khaled Al-Shami.
In his remarks, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shalabi welcomed the Rector’s Assistant and the attendees, stressing the importance of the faculty’s website as a key platform for showcasing its academic and service activities, as well as an effective means of communication with students, faculty members, and the wider community.
For his part, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi emphasized the importance of regularly updating and developing faculty websites in line with digital transformation requirements and in a manner that reflects the institutional image of Sana’a University. He underscored the need to adhere to the university’s media policy, improve content quality, ensure ease of navigation, and maintain continuous data updates, thereby enhancing the faculty’s academic and media presence at both local and international levels.
The meeting concluded with a number of observations and recommendations aimed at upgrading the faculty’s website, improving its technical structure and content, and supporting the educational and administrative processes in line with modern technological developments.
