PhD Degree Awarded to Ms. Ameera Al-Adimi in Computing and Information Science

Ms. Ameera Taha Yaseen Al-Adimi was awarded a PhD degree in Computing and Information Science for her dissertation titled: An Integrated Framework for Successful Implementation of Business Intelligence Systems in Yemeni Telecommunications Institutions, which was submitted to the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer and Information Technology – Sana’a University. The dissertation defense was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The dissertation aimed to:
- Propose an integrated framework to ensure successful implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) systems in the telecommunications sector.
The study yielded several key findings summarized as follows:
- The success of BI system implementation depends on a combination of organizational, technological, and environmental factors.
- Emphasis was placed on the importance of system quality and information service quality in achieving successful outcomes.
In light of these findings, the researcher presented several recommendations directed at entrepreneurs, telecommunications sector managers, service providers, and policymakers to enhance the adoption of BI systems and maximize their benefits
The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and specialists, students, colleagues, and the researcher’s family.
