Data science is the study of data to extract meaningful insights to serve business organizations. It is a multidisciplinary approach that combines principles and practices from mathematics, statistics, artificial intelligence, and more to analyze large amounts of data. Graduates of the program will be able to design, implement, and use methods to detect patterns and predict future trends from data sets. Typical first job titles include data scientist and data analyst. |
Mission
Qualifying cadres in Data Science through a modern study plan and distinguished teaching staff to meet the labor market requirements.
Vision
To be an academic and research leader in information systems and data science at the national and regional levels.
Program Objectives:
- Providing students with theoretical and practical principles and basic Data Science and Analytics concepts.
- Providing students with the necessary skills and tools to provide adequate service to various institutions and companies and meet the needs of society.
- Qualifying graduates capable of analyzing and using data to meet the needs of different institutions.
- Developing students’ communication abilities, teamwork, and continuous self-learning.
