The Department of Computer Science is one of the main academic departments within the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. It aims to prepare scientifically and professionally qualified graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills required in modern fields of computer science. The Master's Program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence aims to prepare outstanding academic and research professionals in computer science in general and artificial intelligence in particular, equipping them to develop practical and research-based AI solutions that address the needs of the national and regional labor markets as well as societal challenges. The program combines modern and advanced coursework in the core areas of computer science with in-depth study of contemporary artificial intelligence.
Preparing graduates in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with strong theoretical foundations, advanced technical skills, ethical responsibility, and the ability to design innovative computing solutions and conduct research that meet societal, national, and regional needs.
The Ph.D. Program in Computer Science enables students to lead, manage, and conduct an independent research project of a high level of quality in professional or academic settings. The program provides graduates with the opportunity to take responsibility for developing or innovating solutions to knowledge-related problems in computing or artificial intelligence through the submission of a published dissertation that makes a significant contribution to knowledge in the educational, computing, or artificial intelligence fields.
