Bachelor of Cybersecurity

The Department of Cybersecurity is one of the specialized academic departments within the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. It aims to prepare qualified graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills required to protect digital systems and information infrastructure from the growing threats and attacks of cyberspace. The department focuses on preparing students in areas such as network security, information security, ethical penetration testing, digital forensics, cyber risk management, and application and systems security, in line with modern technological developments and the evolving requirements of digital security at both the local and global levels.

2. Providing and developing high-quality academic and research programs in cybersecurity that keep pace with ongoing challenges and developments and with growing labor-market demands, in order to protect cyberspace and combat cybercrime.
3. Providing a stimulating educational and academic environment that strengthens teaching and learning, fosters creativity and innovation, and helps confront the escalating challenges in cybersecurity.
4. Producing innovative scientific research in cybersecurity that contributes to sustainable development and secure digital transformation.
5. Developing and attracting distinguished cybersecurity talents, thereby enhancing education, scientific research, and community service.

Master of Cybersecurity

The Master's Program in Cybersecurity aims to prepare specialized professionals equipped with advanced knowledge and practical skills in protecting digital systems, networks, and information infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks. The program focuses on areas such as network security, ethical penetration testing, digital forensics, cyber risk management, and data and application security, in line with modern technological developments and the needs of the local and regional labor markets. The program provides a stimulating educational and research environment that fosters analytical thinking, innovation, and scientific research, while preparing graduates capable of leading cybersecurity initiatives, protecting the digital environment, and contributing to community service.
