| To offer opportunities to higher studies students, including graduates from education faculties and professionals in the education field, who have exhibited outstanding proficiency in Arabic language departments across diverse faculties, and explored modern concepts and curricula, employing critical thinking skills and engaging in scientific research. |

| The Master’s Program in the Department of Arabic Studies (both Linguistics and Literature sections), endeavors to achieve the following aims: |
| 1- To advance research aspects across various disciplines of Arabic language, literature, rhetoric, and criticism. 2- To cultivate a refined linguistic and literary sensibility grounded in robust academic foundations. 3- To foster creativity and innovation by developing scholarly research and encouraging outstanding students to actively participate in academic activities within a supportive environment. 4- To strengthen Arabic language proficiency skills among students. 5- To document the correlation between cultural heritage assets and contemporary linguistic and literary developments. 6- To provide distinguished training in linguistics and literary studies. 7- To meet the Yemeni society’s need by producing outstanding graduates. 8- To develop scholarly thinking skills among higher studies students through the utilization of modern research methodologies. 9- To deepen academic understanding of Arabic linguistic and literary studies by benefiting from the latest methodological advancements in human knowledge. 10- To serve the society and its aspirations for achieving comprehensive development by expanding the scope of scientific research within the Department’s specialized field. |
