  • Program Mission

 

To prepare highly distinguished professionals capable of addressing challenges within Mathematics and Mathematics education, dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational system in this field, providing various societal institutions, such as universities and research centers, with skilled personnel proficient in research and development related to Mathematics, its curricula, and teaching methods.

 

  • Program Aims

 

 

 

1-    To prepare highly qualified and distinguished professionals in scientific research and curriculum design and development in the area of Mathematics education.

2-    To undertake pioneering research to provide scientific solutions to pertinent issues within Mathematics education, with a particular focus on Mathematics teaching and learning within the context of the Republic of Yemen.

3-     To enhance the departmental teaching staff’s proficiency in scientific research, teaching methods, and provision of scientific consultations to educational institutions across Yemen.

4-    To coordinate and cooperate with relevant domestic and international institutions and centers to exchange expertise and enhance performance in Mathematics education.

5-    To graduate proficient personnel capable of identifying, formulating, and analyzing educational issues within Mathematics education, and adept at selecting the most suitable research methods and tools for resolution.

6-     To provide opportunities for academic and research advancement to holders of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

    Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
