Faculty of Education Welcomes Students from Ammar Bin Yasser School on Academic Field Visit
SANA’A – The Faculty of Education at Sana’a University today hosted high school students from the Ammar Bin Yasser School (Hamdan District). The scientific field visit, which included 30 male and female students accompanied by the school principal, educational supervisor, and physics teacher, aimed to familiarize students with the college’s facilities and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.
The tour provided an extensive overview of the Faculty’s departments, including:
– Chemistry and Computer Labs: Students explored modern laboratory environments.
– Early Childhood Department: Insight into specialized pedagogical training.
– Faculty Library: An introduction to both printed and electronic educational resources.
– Instructional Technology Department: Where students viewed innovative educational projects and models.
During the visit, English Department students delivered a presentation in English about their academic journeys to inspire the visiting students. In the Physics Department, the visitors observed live scientific experiments, allowing them to interact with laboratory equipment and materials firsthand.
This initiative successfully motivated students to consider the Faculty of Education for their future academic careers and assisted them in identifying potential specializations. It also served to strengthen the relationship between the university and the local community.
The Faculty administration emphasized that such visits are part of an ongoing strategy to enhance outreach to schools. By providing a real-world educational experience, the Faculty aims to encourage enrollment and demonstrate its commitment to educational development and community engagement.
