The study yielded the following key findings:

 A statistically significant effect (p ≤ 0.05) of educational level was found on patients’ knowledge of their condition, their health practices, and their commitment to medication use.

 Significant differences were found in the average responses of the study sample regarding knowledge of their medical condition based on gender, in favor of males.

 No significant differences were found with respect to health practices and adherence to medication across gender and age variables.

 No statistically significant gender-based differences (p ≤ 0.05) were found in the relationship between educational level and health awareness among users of chronic disease medications.

The researcher offered a number of recommendations summarized as follows:

 Organizing awareness-raising seminars for patients with hypertension and diabetes, as well as their families, highlighting associated risk factors, particularly since the symptoms of such diseases are often silent.
