Inclusive Development Research Center Discusses ‎Research Proposals by Graduate Students

The Inclusive Development Research Center at Sana’a University today held a seminar to ‎discuss the PhD dissertation proposal submitted by researcher Najoud Mohammed Al-‎Droubi, entitled:‎

‎“The Role of Governance in Local Community Development through the ‎Achievement of Social Justice: A Case Study of Building Foundation for ‎Development (2020–2025), Aden Governorate”‎

The proposal was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Abdulwahab Abdulqader, Principal ‎Supervisor.‎

The Center also held a seminar to discuss the Master’s thesis proposal submitted by ‎researcher Jameela Ahmed Rafiq, entitled:‎

‎“The Impact of Funded Small Enterprises on Achieving Economic Empowerment ‎for Yemeni Women: An Evaluative Field Study in the Capital Secretariat – Sana’a

The proposal was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Mukarrad Al-Selwi, Principal ‎Supervisor.‎

The discussion committee comprised the following academics:‎

• Assoc. Prof. Saud Al-Shawesh – Examiner and Academic Deputy ‎

• Assoc. Prof. ‎Elham Al-Rida – Examiner and Member ‎

• Assoc. Prof. ‎Abdulwahab Abdulqader – Examiner and Member ‎

• Assoc. Prof. ‎Sukina Hashim – Examiner and Representative of the Scientific Integrity ‎Committee

• Dr. Mohammed Mukarrad Al-Selwi – Examiner and Supervisor ‎

During the session, the two researchers presented their respective research proposals, ‎outlining the research problems, objectives, significance, and methodology, as well as the ‎theoretical and conceptual frameworks underpinning their studies, the proposed ‎hypotheses, and the research instruments to be employed.‎

Following an extensive discussion by the committee members, the committee approved ‎both research proposals, commending the researchers for their efforts and highlighting the ‎significance of their respective topics in improving institutional performance and ‎enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of development work.‎

The discussion was attended by a number of interested faculty members and graduate ‎students at the Center.‎
