The Academic Council at Sana’a University convened its 12th regular meeting today, chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Muta’a, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Chairman of the Academic Council, with council members representing various faculties in attendance.
At the opening of the session, Prof. Al-Muta’a welcomed the council members, praising their continuous efforts in monitoring and elevating academic performance across the university.
The council reviewed several key items on its agenda, beginning with the approval of the previous meeting’s minutes. Participants then discussed a range of academic and regulatory matters concerning the educational process and academic institutional development in the university.
During the meeting, the council finalized several administrative decisions to reinforce faculty stability and institutional efficiency, including the approval of 6 academic promotions, endorsing 13 academic status adjustments, and confirming permanent tenure for 16 faculty members.
