Sana’a University ADQAC Conducts Field Evaluation of Faculty of Computer and Information Technology

As part of its regular program for evaluating academic and administrative performance across the faculties and centers of Sana’a University, a team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) conducted a field visit today, Wednesday, to the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology to review its institutional performance and assess the readiness of its infrastructure and its compliance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The team comprised Dr. Mansour Al-Subari, Dr. Najeeb Juaim, and Ms. Wajida Al-Aghbari. During the visit, the team inspected classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and various infrastructure components of the Faculty to review the progress of educational and research activities and assess the extent to which these facilities meet approved academic standards, thereby identifying strengths and areas for improvement and development.
As part of the visit, the team held a meeting with the Faculty’s leadership, attended by Dr. Heba Mohammed Al-Marouei, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance, and Dr. Mansour Noaman Marhoob, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies. The meeting reviewed the current state of institutional, academic, and administrative performance at the Faculty and discussed future development plans and mechanisms for continuously enhancing the quality of educational, research, and administrative processes.
The ADQAC’s team emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to foster a culture of comprehensive quality within the Faculty and strengthening institutional practices that support performance development and enhance the quality of academic and administrative services. Such efforts contribute to strengthening the Faculty’s capacity to fulfill its mission and strategic objectives and meet quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s plan to regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the University’s faculties and centers, support continuous improvement initiatives, and consolidate institutional practices in accordance with quality standards, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance and improving the outcomes of Sana’a University.
