Dr. Ali Mohammed Ali Shamlan

Personal Statement:

I hold a PhD degree in Curriculum and Teaching Methods in Islamic Education and currently serve as a faculty member at Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, Sana’a University. Within this role, I have actively contributed to the advancement and quality assurance initiatives of the center by actively participating in formulation of guidelines and standards. Furthermore, I have enthusiastically engaged in scholarly pursuits, actively participating in conferences and seminars at both local and regional levels. Driven by a profound passion for enhancing and evolving education, I am particularly dedicated to training and professional development of faculty members at Sana’a University and private universities. In pursuit of this objective, I have conducted numerous research studies encompassing these domains.

  • Master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching Methods – Islamic Education, Faculty of Education, Sana’a University, Yemen, 2005.
  • Master’s thesis title: Evaluation of the Content of Islamic Education

  Books for the Last Three Grades of Basic Education in Yemen.

  • D. in Curriculum and Teaching Methods – Islamic Education, Institute of Educational Studies, Cairo University, Egypt, 2010.

Ph.D. dissertation title: “Development of the Holy Quran and its Sciences Teacher Program in Faculty of Education, Sana’a University, in accordance with Quality Standards.” The dissertation received a strong recommendation for publication and dissemination among universities.
