Sana’a University Senior Medical Students Complete Final Surgery MCQ Examination
SANA’A, Yemen – April 8, 2026 — Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University today administered the final theoretical examination in Surgery for its sixth-year Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) students. The exam, involving the 37th graduating class, is a cornerstone of the university’s final assessment cycle for the current academic year.
The examination was conducted via a Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format at the Faculty’s Electronic Testing Center. Designed to meet modern medical education standards, the assessment focused on:
– Evaluating students’ ability to diagnose and manage complex surgical cases.
– Testing comprehensive knowledge of modern surgical principles.
– Measuring the students’ capacity for evidence-based medical decision-making.
The session was characterized by a highly organized and tranquil environment, ensuring academic integrity and equal opportunity for all 37th-batch candidates.
Prof. Waleed Ghailan, Head of the Surgery Department, personally supervised the examination process. Dr. Ghailan engaged with students to gather feedback on the technical aspects and the comprehensiveness of the exam, emphasizing the department’s commitment to continuous curriculum improvement.
