The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University conducted oral examinations in Human Anatomy and Histology for its second-year medical students (Batch 43), focusing on the Musculoskeletal System module.
The examinations evaluated students’ capacity to recall complex anatomical data, articulate clinical concepts using precise terminology, and demonstrate critical thinking under evaluation. The sessions took place in the presence of Dean Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehari, Vice Dean for Student Affairs Prof. Arwa Othman, and Head of the Anatomy Department Prof. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, alongside faculty members and teaching assistants.
Dean Al-Shehari emphasized that anatomy and histology serve as foundational elements for clinical understanding, noting that interactive oral assessments assist faculty in gauging student mastery and guiding ongoing academic progress.
