When Medicine Becomes a Risk: Faculty of Communication Students Launch Powerful Public Awareness Campaign

The Department of Public Relations and Advertising at Sana’a University’s Faculty of Communication held a defense session for an undergraduate graduation project presented by students of the 32nd graduating class. The capstone project, titled “A Public Awareness Campaign on the Random Use of Medicines,” was presented in the faculty auditorium.
The project aims to spotlight the dangers of unmonitored medicine consumption and its adverse health effects, while educating the community on the vital importance of following medical prescriptions and consulting healthcare professionals before taking medication.
The review committee praised the project’s exceptional standard, noting its creative execution, strategic communication, and impactful messaging. The panel emphasized the importance of student-led initiatives in serving public health and civic awareness.
At the end of the defense, the students expressed their gratitude to the committee for their valuable feedback and constructive guidance, which helped elevate the final project. They also thanked the Faculty leadership and faculty for their continuous support throughout the academic year.
