Third-year students in the Department of Radio and Television at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Sana’a University, completed a comprehensive practical assignment for their Radio and Television Directing course, producing a full-length feature film. The project aimed to sharpen their technical and directorial skills while converting theoretical media knowledge into hands-on production experience.
The assignment covered various stages of filmmaking, enabling students to practically apply directing techniques and manage core drama and television production elements—from initial concept development and scripting to shooting scenes according to an established directorial vision.
Supervised by course instructor Dr. Basel Ahmed Nasser Al-Hamati, this practical application reflects the Faculty of Mass Communication’s strategy to integrate academic instruction with hands-on training, equipping students with the professional competencies required for the broadcasting industry.
