The Department of Journalism and Digital Media at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Sana’a University, held a seminar to discuss the Ph.D. dissertation proposal submitted by researcher Nahwan Mohammed Abdo Al-Aghbari. The study is titled “Media Framing of Health Issues in Digital Journalism and Its Impact on Health Awareness Among Yemeni Public.”
The session was supervised by Professor Ali Hussein Al-Ammar.
During the presentation, the researcher outlined her Ph.D. proposal, highlighting the study’s subject, objectives, methodology, core theoretical foundations, hypotheses, and proposed analytical tools.
The seminar emphasized the research’s importance in tracking media framing of health topics within digital journalism and its role in shaping health awareness among Yemeni audiences, reinforcing the impact of digital media in public health education.
The session featured an in-depth academic discussion covering various aspects of the proposal. Attendees provided scholarly observations and suggestions to enrich and further refine the study to achieve its research goals.
Held in the Journalism Lab Hall at the Faculty of Mass Communication, the seminar was attended by faculty members, researchers, and graduate students from the department.
