Under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, the Faculty of ‎Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University organized a training workshop on ‎Modern Teaching and Learning Strategies, in collaboration with the Academic Development ‎and Quality Assurance Center, as part of the Faculty’s strategic plans to enhance and ‎modernize teaching performance.‎

The workshop reviewed the main themes of modern teaching strategies, emphasizing the ‎importance of effective instruction planning, classification and characteristics of teaching ‎methods, and the necessity of aligning teaching methods with intended learning outcomes ‎to ensure consistency between educational goals and learning strategies.‎

Participants also discussed the procedures and mechanisms for implementing these ‎strategies, as well as the objectives required to ensure their successful application. The ‎sessions further explored the challenges and difficulties currently facing teaching practices ‎within the Faculty and concluded with a set of practical recommendations and proposals ‎aimed at overcoming these obstacles and improving the overall quality of teaching processes ‎at the Faculty.‎

This workshop reflects the Faculty’s commitment to advancing the quality of university ‎teaching and enhancing its role in aligning learning outcomes with the labor market ‎demands.
