Under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University organized a training workshop on Modern Teaching and Learning Strategies, in collaboration with the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, as part of the Faculty’s strategic plans to enhance and modernize teaching performance.
The workshop reviewed the main themes of modern teaching strategies, emphasizing the importance of effective instruction planning, classification and characteristics of teaching methods, and the necessity of aligning teaching methods with intended learning outcomes to ensure consistency between educational goals and learning strategies.
Participants also discussed the procedures and mechanisms for implementing these strategies, as well as the objectives required to ensure their successful application. The sessions further explored the challenges and difficulties currently facing teaching practices within the Faculty and concluded with a set of practical recommendations and proposals aimed at overcoming these obstacles and improving the overall quality of teaching processes at the Faculty.
This workshop reflects the Faculty’s commitment to advancing the quality of university teaching and enhancing its role in aligning learning outcomes with the labor market demands.
