Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources Participates in the First Graduation Projects Exhibition

The Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources participates in the 1st Graduation Projects Exhibition at Sana’a University for the academic year 2026–2027, which took place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 27, 28, and 29. The event featured a selection of distinguished graduation projects from students across five faculties: the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Computing, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Agriculture.
During the exhibition, the Dean of the Faculty presented the five engineering projects representing the faculty. The first project, titled **”Drilling Performance Analysis and Risk Prevention,”** included the design of a comprehensive engineering model simulating a rotary drilling rig used in oil fields, contributing to the enhancement of practical application and the understanding of drilling mechanisms and associated risk management.
The second project featured the design of a model for an **oil and water liquid separation and treatment system**, illustrating the stages of fluid separation and processing used in petroleum operations. This project reflects the application of engineering knowledge in delivering practical solutions that mirror oil industry realities. The remaining projects were explained by students **Murad Saleh Al-Otmi** and **Imad Al-Din Muhammad Al-Mansour**.
The faculty’s pavilion received significant interest and attendance from exhibition visitors. The displayed projects highlighted the students’ exceptional scientific and practical competence, demonstrating their ability to transform academic knowledge into innovative engineering models that serve the oil and natural resources sector.
