He was born in Al-Zaydiyah, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, lived and raised in Sana’a. He has four children. He studied in Egypt, Cairo, and studied Islamic science at the Great Mosque in Sana’a. He has many knowledgeable contributions and participations in teaching science in the mosque, and he worked on legal awareness programs on Afaq FM radio.
