Sana’a University Rector Visits Faculty of Physical Education and Commends Its Role in Shaping Exceptional Graduates

Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, paid an inspection visit to the Faculty of Physical Education to assess its academic and administrative operations.
In his meeting with the faculty’s leadership, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti underscored the Faculty’s strategic role in preparing highly qualified graduates who are well-equipped to excel in the labor market and contribute significantly to elevating Sana’a University’s international ranking, as Yemen’s leading university.
He stressed the university administration’s unwavering support for the educational process and its dedication to fostering a dynamic and high-quality learning environment for students.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti also encouraged the faculty leadership to update academic programs in alignment with recognized regional and international academic standards, while maintaining the distinctiveness of Yemeni identity.
The University Rector was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi – the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs; Mr. Iskandar Al-Maqaleh, General Secretary of the University; Mr. Abdulqadir Al-Ghurbani, General Director of Student Activities and Youth Care; Eng. Abdulghani Al-Dharihi, General Director of Services; Eng. Abdulhakim Shamsan, General Director of Projects.
During the visit, Dr. Abdulghani Mutahar, Dean of the Faculty, presented a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s departments and educational outputs, highlighting their alignment with the needs of the sports sector at both the local and regional levels. He also outlined key challenges and essential requirements for enhancing academic programs and enhancing both theoretical and practical education.
The meeting was attended by several faculty officials and teaching staff, including, Prof. Najeeb Saleh Ja’eem – Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Graduate Studies, and Quality – Head of Theoretical Courses Department; Prof. Mohammed Ali Al-Khawlani, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Controller of Examination; Mr. Khaled Mohammed Da’er, Faculty’s General Secretary and Dr. Bakeel Hussein Al-Sofi, Head of Practical Courses Department.
The visit concluded with reaffirming the University Rector’s commitment to supporting the Faculty’s development, and enhancing its role in promoting sports activities and the university-level education in Yemen.
