Student Affairs Council Holds 4th Regular Meeting for Academic Year 1447 AH

Sana’a, Tuesday, October 21, 2025 (29 Rabi‘ al-Akhir 1447 AH)
The Student Affairs Council at Sana’a University held its fourth regular meeting for the academic year 1447 AH, chaired by Prof. Mohammed Ali Shukri, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, with the participation of council members.
During the meeting, the council approved the lists of graduates from the following faculties: Faculry of Sharia and Law, Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Faculty of Mass Communi action, and Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, based on submissions received from the respective faculty councils. The lists will be forwarded to the University Council for final approval.
The council also discussed and approved a number of student-related issues, including those submitted by faculties or raised directly by students in writing, taking appropriate decisions accordingly.
In addition, the council reviewed a proposal from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to introduce a physical fitness assessment for applicants to its three programs (Medicine, Medical Laboratories, and Nursing), starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, to ensure that candidates are physically capable of meeting the study and professional requirements during and after their academic training.
The meeting also reviewed and approved the minutes of the council’s previous session.
