Forage Crop Field Practicum Connects Agronomy Concepts to Livestock Production

Students in the Department of Crops participated in a field visit to forage crop fields as part of their Field Training course, aiming to connect theoretical concepts with practical application in forage production.
Supervised by Engineer Ibrahim Al-Muzael, students examined various forage crop varieties, their agronomic traits, and their role in supporting livestock productivity.
The session included practical instruction on planting schedules, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting techniques, and strategies to overcome local growing challenges. The activity reflects the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment’s commitment to practical training and sustainable agricultural development.
