ملخص:
أستاذ اللغويات و دراسات الترجمة في جامعة صنعاء منذ التأسيس. تولى عددا من المناصب في الجامعة ومنها منصب وكيل كلية الآداب ثم عميد كلية اللغات جامعة صنعاء (2005-2011 )، وأيضا نائب رئيس جامعة الحديدة في عام 2001. مترجم محترف على مستوى الوطن العربي وقد قام بترجمة الكثير من الأعمال الحكومية والغير حكومية ومنها ترجمة دستور الجمهورية اليمنية والعديد من القوانين المعمول بها في الجمهورية اليمنية. عمل مستشارا لدى المجلس البريطاني في اليمن لعدة سنوات كما كان له إسهام كبير في نمو وتطور تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية في اليمن. يعمل حاليا أستاذا للغويات والترجمة – كلية الآداب – جامعة صنعاء.
