Associate Professor with over 17 years of academic and professional experience in Computing fields, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, and Blockchain applications. Proven track record in teaching, academic leadership, curriculum design, international collaboration, research supervision, and scholarly publications in leading journals. Dedicated to excellence in higher education, innovation, and capacity building in emerging technologies. Strong contributor to institutional accreditation, digital transformation, and quality assurance initiatives. In addition, I am an approved external auditor in the national accreditation for computing programs in Yemen.

I have an excellent research track record, with an h-index of 15 (Google Scholar) and 11 (Scopus), and approximately 80 peer-reviewed publications, including about 42 research articles published in high-quality journals (Scopus and Web of Science). In addition, I was and still an editorial board member and technical committee member (reviewer) in many highly ranked journals (Web of Science and Scopus) at high-level publishers such as Springer (Nature), Elsevier, IEEE Access, CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Frontiers of Internet of Things, and Emerald. My research interests are focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), Cloud Computing, Fog Computing, and Mobile Edge Computing. Furthermore, I was and still am the main supervisor on numerous Master’s and PhD theses. Finally, I am one of the founders of the IEEE Yemen Subsection, established in 2018, and served as its first chair from November 2018 to December 2022. Currently, I am the elected vice chair of the Subsection from 2023 to 2026. Thus, I was and still am contributing to the organization and program committees of more than 15 IEEE conferences in Yemen since 2019 until current.
