Summary:

I was awarded a Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry/Physics) – College of Education / Sana’a University in 2004 with a grade of very good with an honor degree (85.45%). I was then appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Curriculum and Science Teaching Methods – in the same college. I completed with distinction a master’s degree – specialized in Science Curricula and Teaching Methods – College of Education – Sana’a University. I completed my doctoral studies with distinction, specialized in Science Curricula and Teaching Methods – College of Education – Mansoura University, Egypt.

I was previously appointed Youth Leader at the college, and a member of the college’s Student Affairs Committee. I attended many workshops and conferences. I supervised many master’s and doctoral theses, as well as an internal and external examiner for many master’s and doctoral theses. I participated in building academic programs and describing the university’s courses according to Academic Accreditation Council Standards. I have published many research papers in local and international refereed journals. Currently, I work as an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Science Teaching Methods – College of Education – Sana’a University. I teach scientific and educational subjects in a systematic and professional manner. I have a distinguished experience in dealing with students, researchers and colleagues with high administrative skills.

I am Interested in preparing and developing science teachers, evaluating and developing science curricula in general education, preparing modern curricular plans that adhere to quality education standards, evaluating and developing study programs, and integrating information and communication technologies into education.
