Faculty of Education, Humanities, and Applied Sciences – Khawlan Holds 11th Session

Sana’a University, Khawlan – The Faculty Board of the Faculty of Education, Humanities, and Applied Sciences in Khawlan held its regular monthly session for June 2025 on Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025.
The session was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of the Vice-Deans and heads of the faculty’s academic departments.
During the session, the board discussed several agenda items and made the following decisions:
Academic and Teaching Affairs
1. In accordance with the directive from His Excellency the University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, the board affirmed its full commitment to implementing the instructions regarding the distribution of teaching loads.
2. The board approved the contracting of several faculty members for the Department of Biology and the Departments of Computer Science and Computer Teacher Education.
3. The board approved the nomination of a demonstrator for postgraduate studies.
Student Affairs
1. The board approved the monitoring of grades for the October 2024 resit examination.
2. The new academic year 1447 Hijri – 2025/2026 is set to commence on Saturday, Muharram 3, 1447 Hijri, corresponding to July 26, 2025. The board urged faculty members, administrative staff, and students to adhere to the official working hours as per the new academic calendar.
