A workshop on curriculum development

Under the generous patronage of the University President and the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Humanities, and Applied Sciences – Khawlan, a productive workshop aimed at developing the faculty’s study plans was held today, Saturday, May 3, 2024, at the faculty.
The workshop witnessed the attendance of heads of academic departments and faculty members, during which views and ideas were exchanged on ways to improve curricula and meet the needs of students and the requirements of the labor market.
Proposals for developing study plans submitted by academic departments were also discussed.
The Dean of the Faculty inaugurated the workshop with a speech in which he emphasized the importance of developing study plans in line with modern trends in education and labor market changes, praising the departments’ efforts in achieving this goal.
The Dean of the Faculty also clarified the importance of cooperation between academic departments to achieve effective and fruitful results.
The workshop included discussion sessions and interactive workshops, during which new proposals and ideas were presented by the participants, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of education at the faculty.
This workshop comes within the framework of the university’s continuous efforts to improve the educational process and develop academic programs in a manner that suits the needs of society and sustainable development.
