Academic Contributions:

  • Collaborated with a group of esteemed professors in compiling two educational dictionaries for students in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries under the supervision of the Center for Educational Research and Development
  • Collaborated with a group of academics and specialists in preparing the general framework for the project: The Great Yemeni Encyclopedia, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Yemeni Center for Historical Studies and Future Strategies.

Participated in numerous conferences and seminars both within Yemen and internationally. Notable contributions include:

  • Being invited to the Cairo International Poetry Forum (2nd Edition), themed “The Current Poetry Landscape”, organized by the Supreme Council of Culture, March 2009.
  • Attending the Cultural Exchange Conference between Yemen and India, organized by the University of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad, India, 2010.
  • Participating in the Conference on Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in Doha, Qatar, organized by the Faculty of Languages.
  • Presented at the seminar “Lexicographical and General Dictionary Development in Yemen”, held at the Faculty of Arts, Sana’a University, in collaboration with Dr. Hamid Al-Awadhi and Dr. Hussein Al-Zarai.

  • Won first prize in the short story competition organized by the Capital Secretariat’s Office of Education, Sana’a (1989–1990).
