The Quality Assurance Unit at the college is considered one of the essential elements that contribute to enhancing the level of education and improving its outcomes. In light of the economic and social challenges facing our country, there is an urgent need to ensure the quality of education and develop it in line with international standards. The Quality Assurance Unit undertakes multiple responsibilities aimed at achieving the college’s vision and mission. Among the main roles of the Quality Assurance Unit:
Development of Academic Standards: The unit works on establishing clear standards for evaluating academic programs and curricula, which contributes to improving the quality of education.
Evaluation and Review: The unit conducts periodic evaluations of academic programs and university activities, providing analytical reports that help identify strengths and weaknesses.
Training and Development: The unit provides training programs for faculty members and administrative staff to enhance their skills and competencies in the field of education and scientific research.
Promoting a Culture of Quality: The unit seeks to spread awareness of the importance of quality among all college members, including students, faculty, and administration.
Coordination with External Bodies: The unit cooperates with local accreditation and quality bodies to ensure the alignment of academic programs with international standards.

Achievements of the Quality Unit - Academic Year 1446 AH
Introduction: The Quality Unit at the college is considered a fundamental pillar for achieving academic and administrative excellence, as it aims to enhance quality and improve educational and administrative performance, as well as scientific research and community service. This strategic plan comes in response to the increasing challenges in the field of higher education and quality requirements. By defining clear goals and developing effective mechanisms, the unit seeks to achieve the college’s vision of providing distinguished education according to quality standards. This plan represents a roadmap toward continuous improvement and ensuring positive results that contribute to raising the college’s academic and administrative level and enhancing its position in scientific research and community service.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Quality Unit at the college has sought to fulfill its mission by developing the college’s academic and administrative quality. By the end of 2019, the training workshop for the process of preparing academic program specifications and course descriptions for all colleges of Sana’a University was completed. In 2020, the description of programs and courses for all university college programs was finalized. The current strategic plan of the Quality Unit seeks to achieve the college’s goals related to quality assurance in the college.
The Quality Unit has carried out its tasks and the requirements of the Development and Quality Assurance Center at the university. Among the most prominent achievements of the unit in the past year:
The unit completed the self-assessment study.
The unit prepared the requirement files for applying for institutional accreditation.
It followed up on the production of course reports.
It developed the college’s website according to quality standards.
It supervised the study schedules.
The unit completed the furnishing of the Quality Unit office with two rooms, an archive, and a computer.
The unit provided technical support to college members regarding the application of quality standards.
