Fundamentals of Microsoft Word

Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Sharafi delivered a lecture in the course Principles of Computer Science for first-level students, dedicated to explaining how to use Microsoft Word, as part of the implementation of the approved study plan for the current academic year 1447 AH (2025–2026).

The lecture addressed an introduction to Microsoft Word and its significance in preparing academic research papers and reports.

It included a practical explanation of the program’s interface, methods for creating documents, formatting text, inserting tables and images, as well as properly saving and printing files. Emphasis was also placed on developing students’ practical skills in using the software to meet the requirements of university study.

The lecture witnessed notable interaction from students through hands-on practice and question-and-answer discussions, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the program and acquiring essential skills in its use.

This lecture is part of a series of lectures approved within the academic plan for the current year, aiming to enhance students’ technical competence and qualify them to effectively use computer applications.
