The program seeks to provide the labor market with qualified scientific cadres in the field of sports education, sports training and various sports sciences and conduct scientific research that meets the requirements of quality, thereby contributing to the service of the community.

Visibility

The Faculty of Sports Education looks forward to being an accredited and recognized educational entity capable of continuously improving in order to achieve excellence, leadership and competitiveness for its students at the local and regional level in order to achieve the university’s vision and the needs of the community, in accordance with quality standards.

Objectives of the Sports Education Programmer:

  1. To provide the graduate with general knowledge, methods and means of modern technology in various sports education sciences.
  2. To provide the graduate with modern teaching skills and strategies.
  3. Developing the graduate’s skills in setting up and participating in scouting camps and sports festivals.
  4. Provide the graduate with general sports culture to serve Yemeni society.
  5. Developing basic skills and training processes (skills-plans-psychology) in individual and collective games and their own laws.
  6. The graduate acquires the skills of conducting scientific research in the field of mathematical sciences.
  7. Developing the graduate’s communication and self-learning skills and awareness of the ethics of the profession.

Program learning outputs:

Upon graduating from the program, the graduate will be able to:

-A knowledge and understanding:

A1 shows knowledge and understanding of the foundations, theories, rules and basic knowledge related to the field of mathematical science.

A2 mentions the ethical principles of professional practice in sports science.

A3 clarifies the legal qualities and aspects of professional practices in the field of sports education sciences.

A4 explains the principles and fundamentals of quality in professional practices in the field of sports education sciences.

A5 mentions the foundations of scientific research and methods of measurement and evaluation in the field of sports education sciences.

-B Mental Skills:

B1 exercises critical thinking and analysis of the principles and theories of sports education sciences.

B2 connects and integrates the branches of sports education activities with other sciences.

B3 defines the requirements for occupational jobs required by the labor market in the field of sports education.

B4 chooses the method of assessment that corresponds to the levels of education and training periods in the field of sports.

B5 exercises research and chooses appropriate methods of data collection that contribute to solving problems and issues related to mathematical aspects.

-C Professional and practical skills:

C1 measures and evaluates sports performance in different sports institutions.

C2 provides the requirements of sports programs and plans in a manner that satisfies the needs of the beneficiaries of sports institutions services.

C3 Effectively uses laboratories, laboratories, instruments and sporting devices taking into account security and safety factors.

C4 bears responsibility and positive direction towards self and professional, academic and personal growth.

-D General and transitional skills:

D1 Practices self-learning and scientific research in sports education sciences.

D2 effectively communicates using various means to activate teamwork and processes associated with the sports field.

D3 self-administers, adjusts and controls impulses.

D4 uses IT and search engines to access modern information in the field of specialization.

D5 actively participates in professional gatherings for local and regional sports education.

Study style: Regular and not allowed to enter final exams if the absence of 25% of lectures exceeds any course.
