The Faculty of Physical Education at Sana’a University held its regular meeting of the Theoretical Department Council this Wednesday, 19/06/1447 AH, corresponding to 10/12/2025 AD, for the current academic year 1447 AH (2025/2026). The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Najeeb Saleh Ja’eem, along with the faculty members responsible for theoretical courses.
The Council discussed a number of academic topics, foremost among them the means of developing the scientific content in alignment with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for improving teaching performance and enhancing the efficiency of the educational process during the current semester.
Council members reviewed the main challenges facing the progress of theoretical courses and presented several proposals aimed at strengthening students’ academic achievement and improving the learning environment within the Faculty.
Prof. Dr. Ja’eem emphasized that holding such regular meetings reflects the Faculty’s commitment to advancing its academic programs and keeping pace with scientific developments in the field of sports sciences. He also stressed the importance of collaborative efforts among faculty members to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of several recommendations to be followed up in the coming period to ensure their implementation in accordance with the set objectives.
