Sana’a University’s Water and Environment Center ‎Holds Training Session on Integrating AI in ‎Postgraduate Studies

The Water and Environment Center at Sana’a University organized a specialized training ‎session on the use of Google NotebookLM in education and postgraduate studies under ‎the auspices of the University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti.‎

The session, titled “The Use of Google NotebookLM in Post-Graduate Education,” ‎was attended by Prof. Zaid Al-Wareeth, Vice Rector of Sana’a University for Centers ‎Affairs, Prof. Fares Al-Qadri, Vice Rector of Sana’a University for Postgraduate Studies ‎and Scientific Research, and Dr. Taha Al-Weshali, the Director of the Water and ‎Environment Center, along with several faculty members.‎

The session aimed to introduce researchers and academics to practical methods for ‎integrating artificial intelligence technologies, particularly Google NotebookLM, into ‎the educational process and scientific research. This included supporting data analysis, ‎facilitating learning tasks, and enhancing scientific research organization in line with ‎modern advancements in technology.‎

Participants were introduced to the tool’s main technical features, especially its role in ‎managing academic sources and references, producing diverse educational outputs ‎such as reports, audio-visual materials, and tests, and supporting self-directed learning ‎through intelligent methods that improve the quality of postgraduate outcomes.‎

This session formed part of a broader series of training programs implemented by the ‎Water and Environment Center to enhance the competencies of academic staff and ‎students, develop digital and research skills, and support the advancement of the ‎scientific research system at Sana’a University.‎

At the end of the session, participants expressed their appreciation for the training content ‎and its effectiveness in simplifying complex research tasks, emphasizing the importance ‎of continuing such workshops that bridge academic work with the latest developments in ‎technology and artificial intelligence.‎
