*Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance (ADCQA) Reviews Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanisms Across University Faculties*

The Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance (ADCQA) at Sana’a University held its regular meeting today to review mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating performance levels across university faculties and the extent of implementing unified plans, as part of the center’s efforts to develop institutional performance, enhance the quality system, and elevate academic and administrative practices.
The meeting was chaired by the Center Dean, Prof. Huda Ali Al-Emad, with the attendance of vice deans for quality affairs and center members, where arrangements were reviewed regarding field visits by the committees tasked with evaluation and monitoring work across university faculties.
The meeting approved the commencement of the field committees’ work starting Saturday, August 15, 2026, aimed at evaluating performance levels and monitoring adherence to implementing unified plans, according to approved mechanisms and standards.
The meeting emphasized the importance of commitment to executing unified plans to achieve their objectives and contribute to unifying work procedures and raising performance efficiency, while excluding the topic of course coding from evaluation and monitoring tasks during the current phase until relevant procedures are completed and a unified coding mechanism is approved by competent authorities.
The meeting stressed the necessity for designated committees to adhere to accuracy and objectivity in executing their tasks and to stick to specified timelines for completing evaluation work and submitting reports, with the submission process to be completed by the end of the current month of August.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance (ADCQA) efforts to strengthen institutional monitoring and evaluation, consolidate a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and utilize evaluation results to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement, thereby contributing to the development of academic and administrative performance levels across Sana’a University faculties.
