This program is offered by the Department of Economics and Finance. The mission of this department is to qualify distinguished and competent human resources equipped with theoretical knowledge and professional skills in the fields of economics and finance. This fulfills the development requirements and needs of the local and regional markets through well-qualified and highly-experienced academic staff, an appropriate educational environment, and a modern curriculum.

To qualify distinguished and competent human resources equipped with theoretical, professional, and research capabilities in the fields of finance and banking with a view to fulfilling development requirements and needs of local and regional markets through proficient and highly experienced academic staff, appropriate educational environment, and modern curriculum.

 

Aims of the Bachelor of Financial and Banking Sciences Program:

  1. Preparing students academically and providing them with fundamental knowledge in various aspects of financial and banking activities.
  2. Developing students’ skills and abilities in financial and banking analysis and planning, and increasing their efficiency in decision-making.
  3. Equipping students with scientific research skills and linking research works to community service and labor market needs.
  4. Keeping pace with recent scientific developments relevant to contemporary financial and banking issues to meet the needs of economic development and the labor market.
  5. Developing students’ general skills in utilizing information technology, communicating effectively, and adhering to public morals and professional ethics
