**Department of Radio and Television Holds Third Regular Meeting, Passes Key Academic Decisions**

The Department of Radio and Television at the Faculty of Mass Communication convened its third regular meeting for the 2026/2027 academic year today, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Hussein Jaghman, Department Chair.
During the meeting, the department council reviewed a readiness report submitted by scientific supervisor Prof. Mohammed Al-Faqih regarding the Ph.D. dissertation of researcher Manal Al-Waleed. Following approval of its readiness for defense, the council proposed the formation of the dissertation defense committee.
The council also reviewed medical deferral requests for three students facing health issues during the term and approved appropriate administrative procedures for each case.
On the academic front, course assignments for the upcoming second semester were finalized and distributed among faculty members, prioritizing the updated curriculum plan aligned with faculty specializations.
Concluding the meeting, Dr. Jaghman expressed his appreciation and congratulations to the faculty on the successful completion of the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
