Dr. Abdallah Azzalab is Currently an Associate Professor of Communication and Gender at Sana’a University in Yemen. He is a former Professor of Gender and development at the Gender Development Center for Studies and Applied Researches, Sana’a University. He held a Ph.D. in Sociology of Culture, and master’s degree in Sociology of communication from Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at University of Tunis. He had previously an Advanced Diploma in Sociology of Development and DALF in French Language and Literature from Paris. He is also, former Executive Chairman of Yemen Radio & TV Corporation form 2007 to 2011. He was the author, editor or compiler of more than 7 books, and numerous Scientific Studies. Dr. Azzalab had a career with the Yemeni government. He served as a head of cooperation with Europe Section at Ministry of Planning and Development. He also was the Dean of the Mass Communication Training & Qualifying Institute.
