Vice Dean of the College of Petroleum and Natural Resources Launches Non-Automated Exams for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2026–2027

Today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the Vice Dean of the College of Petroleum and Natural Resources for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Mohammad Thabit, launched the final examinations for the first semester of the academic year 2026–2027, in the presence of the Head of the Control Board, Dr. Maryam Taher, the College Registrar, and the Director of the College Information System.

​During the launch, Dr. Khalid Mohammad Thabit provided a brief overview of the logistical and technical arrangements that preceded the examination process, starting from the mechanisms for preparing and setting the questions to the distribution of first and third-year students across designated halls, ensuring a quiet and organized exam environment.

​Following that, the Vice Dean inspected the examination halls to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams across the college’s various scientific departments, praising the level of adherence to examination regulations and the soundness of the procedures followed. Students took their exams at the Electronic Testing Center as part of the college’s drive toward digitizing educational operations, while exams for second and fourth-year students are scheduled to begin tomorrow according to the approved timeline.

​At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Khalid Mohammad Thabit urged his student sons and daughters to exert their utmost efforts and focus on taking their exams, wishing everyone continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
