The Concluding Session of a training workshop on Teaching and Assessment Strategies for 746 academics organized by ADQAC at Sana’a University, under the auspices of the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Al-Qassim Mohammad Abass.
Today, Monday, 20.09.2021, the training workshop on the strategies of teaching, assessment and test building was concluded for (746) faculty members and their assistants who participated in the specification of programs all the faculties and centers of the University. The workshop was organized by Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) represented by the Training and Capacity Development Unit, under the direct supervision of the University Rector, and the Center’s Dean. This workshop was held in all faculties and centers of the university, under the supervision of ADQAC. The workshop was carried out in three phases, as follows:
1- The First Phase, held on 28th -29th /08/2021, was devoted for training all faculty members and their assistants in the faculties and centers.
2-The Second Phase was devoted for the members who were unable to attend the training centers in the University faculties based on the direction of the University leadership. Therefore, a two-day training workshop was held at the Faculty of Education, Al-Mahweet on 1st – 2nd /09/2021.
3- In the Third Phase, a workshop was held for the faculty members and their assistants in the Faculty of Education and Applied Sciences – Arhab, on Sunday and Monday, 19th -20th /09/2021.
Thus, by concluding the workshop, the University and ADQAC plans were achieved by improving the performance of faculty members, developing their capabilities and enhancing their professional skills.
The participants presented their appreciations to the trainers and expressed their pleasure to be benefited from the two effective workshops, which aim to improve the performance of faculty members and develop their abilities and professional skills.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to the University leadership represented by its Rector, Prof. Al-Qassim Abass, as well as to ADQAC administration, represented by its Dean, Dr. Hoda Al-Emad, for supporting the workshop and their constant concern with holding such training sessions, which have a major role in improving and developing the performance of the academic staff made in Setting up the workshop.
