Experience:

  • Conducted a number of studies and researches related to evaluation and Improvement of  production and reproductive  performance on Friesian Cattle under  the conditions of  hot areas like Yemen and Iraq.
  • Supervising the implementation of number of emergency projects of the livestock component ( projects 7 ), for targeting livestock keepers (women 7000) in a number of governorate
  • Supervising the implementation of the livelihood improvement project funded by the worlds food program for cows keepers (women 320) in  Sana’a and AL Mahwit Governorate .
  • Conducted several studies focusing on  recycling of agricultural residue and using  it in  feeding animals.
  • Prepared and executed a series of programs and workshops focused on animal treasure and its various fields such as: animal feeding and breeding welfare.
  • Executed several economic and technical evaluation studies concentrating on creating animal production farms.
  • Conservation of Animal Genetic Resources and aiming to find out some genetic markers which can be used as a selection criterion for high milk and growth rate.
  • I am also conducting research in ruminant Breeding, estimating genetic Parameters(heritability ,repeatability, genetic and phenotypic correlations, breeding value) of production traits of Animal breeds. As well as imported breeds and their crosses.
  • Training Courses in Experimental Design and Analysis of Variance.
  • Training Courses in animal nutrition and care.
  • On-going research linked to documentation of Yemeni Agricultural Heritage (Tangible & Intangible) and Indigenes Knowledge.
