Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Faculty of Physical Education at Sana’a University, Brother Dr. Muhammad Al-Mawlid, Minister of Youth and Sports, visited the Faculty of Physical Education yesterday, Sunday, 6/15/2026 AD, during which he met with the Dean of the Faculty, Dr.Abdul-Ghani Mutaher, and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khawlani and a group of employees of the Faculty and the ministry, During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the ministry and the Faculty and the prominent and important role of the ministry in providing services and facilities to the college’s students and graduates since the college’s inception were reviewed, as well as the important role of the Faculty of Physical Education in providing the ministry with qualified graduates, as well as providing consultations, experiences, lectures and seminars to employees of the ministry and its affiliated institutions, It has the Minister urged continued cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Faculty within the framework of the complementary common goal and to present a vision and strategic plan for that, For his part, the Dean of the Faculty welcomed this visit, which indicates the depth of the relationship and cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Faculty of Physical Education, and expressed his readiness to provide and facilitate everything possible from Before the college to qualify the Ministry’s employees, coaches and players, whether at the level of training courses, seminars and workshops..Or at the academic qualification level in the college’s three programs (Bachelor’s – Master’s – Doctorate)

Faculty of Physical Education at Sana’a University held a special meeting this morning, Tuesday, 8th of Jumada Al-Akhir, 1446 Hijri, corresponding to May 6, 2025, to prepare the schedule for the first semester of the upcoming academic year 1447 Hijri, corresponding to 2025-2026. This step comes as part of the faculty’s preparations to welcome the new academic year. During this process, lecture times and student activities will be determined. The faculty is also undertaking all necessary preparations to welcome new students for the upcoming academic year, including the equipping of classrooms, laboratories, and sports facilities. The academic schedule aims to organize the educational process and provide a distinguished learning environment for students. Furthermore, the schedule will assist students in managing their time and identifying the timings of lectures and student activities, in addition to fostering an excellent educational setting through the clear scheduling of academic and extracurricular engagements. The meeting was attended by:

PhD researcher Safa Abdullah Husayn al-Shu’ubi received a doctoral degree in the Department of Physical Education specializing in Physical Education from the Faculty of Physical Education of Sana ‘a University on Thursday 25/Jumada al-afterwards 1446 A.D. 26/12/2024 The Committee for Discussion and Governance consisted of Dr. Ibrahim Ali Mohammed Al-Genaifi, Supervisor and Member of the Committee, Professor Fouad Muhammad Ali Al-Awdi, internal discussant and Co-Doctor Yahya Saleh Yahya Al-Maitami and A itami

The mission aimed at identifying the most important physical traits and anthropometric measurements of soccer beginners, establishing standard levels of tests and measurements learned, establishing the relationship between physical traits and skill performance, the relationship between anthropometric measurements and skill performance, and building a predictive equation of skill level performance through the variables under study

While the letter reached a number of findings, including the extraction of five physical tests representing five physical characteristics, six anthropometric measurements, five levels and criteria (poor, acceptable, good, very good, excellent) for tests and measurements derived from practical analysis, irregular and reverse relationships between skill performance and both physical traits and anthropometric measurements were established

The researcher found predictive equations for physical tests and anthropometric measurements contributing to skill performance

The thesis recommends that the predictive value of skilled performance should be used in terms of physical and anthropometric determinants for the selection of female newbies in football in the Republic of Yemen because of its indications of the selection process

The discussion was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, interested persons and a number of the researcher’s colleagues and family members
