The Quality Assurance and Academic Development Center at Sana’a University conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Physical Education to evaluate the level of academic and administrative performance during the first semester of the current academic year. The visit aimed to assess compliance with the academic standards and quality assurance regulations approved by the University, as well as staff commitment and the overall level of cleanliness and organization within the College.
The evaluation committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mujahid, with Mr. Adel Al-Qubati as a committee member. During the visit, the committee reviewed various academic and educational aspects of the College, monitored the progress of the educational process, and assessed compliance with academic plans and course requirements. The committee also reviewed relevant quality assurance documents and procedures, with a particular focus on ongoing improvement and development at the College.
The committee was received by Prof. Dr. Abdulghani Mutahar, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education; Prof. Dr. Najeeb Juaim, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance and Academic Affairs and Head of the Theoretical Courses Department; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Khawlani, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Head of the Examination Control Unit; Associate Prof. Dr. Bakeel Al-Soufi, Head of the Practical Courses Department; and Mr. Khaled Daer, College Secretary, along with a number of academic faculty members and administrative staff.
The visit included monitoring the regularity of the educational process, reviewing the implementation of lectures and practical training sessions, and assessing the availability of the academic requirements and resources necessary for effective teaching and learning. The committee also reviewed a number of documents, records, and procedures related to the educational process and quality assurance.
This visit forms part of the ongoing efforts of Sana’a University, represented by the Quality Assurance and Academic Development Center, to monitor and evaluate academic performance across the University’s colleges, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and enhance institutional and educational performance in line with the requirements of academic quality and accreditation.
The leadership of the Faculty of Physical Education reaffirmed its commitment to cooperation with the Quality Assurance and Academic Development Center and its evaluation committees, as well as to benefiting from the findings and developmental recommendations of the visit. This commitment aims to further enhance the quality of the educational process, improve academic and administrative performance, and raise the standard of services provided to students.
